Does anyone else's car do this?
Don't understand why it started doing this..my neutral safety switch is new so I think I can rule that out.
Doesn't bug me but just wondering.

Is the clutch pedal switch under the dash unplugged? Common for people to remove those for remote start kits. I disabled it on my Evo with built motor and twin disc also. Feel free to PM me for more info if you like.

Mine has done this since the day I drove it off the dealer's lot. I unplugged the safety switch on the clutch pedal. Originally Posted by Ralliartize It

Won't hurt anything as long as you remember to make SURE the car isn't in gear before you turn the key.

Do you do this to prevent crankwalk?Originally Posted by Jmelocik@Spec-Ops

I understand why you would say to prevent crankwalk fast, but these aren't DSM's hahaha
Lancer if you look behind your clutch you'll see a switch that's mounted on a bracket. When you press the clutch down that switch is depressed.

Lol freaked me out, I just turned on my car without the clutch pushed. 10 minute freak out there. Whew. Oh btw..
