1. Does the stock drain bolt have a magnetic tip?
2. What is the thread size for the stock drain bolt?

 

No and 24mm.

Lanzers right, but are you asking for the thread size that screws in or the socket size?

 

The bolt head is 24mm, the actual bolt (thread) size is smaller, but I don't know what it is offhand.

 

Thank you for the responses. I have a couple of magnetic bolts on my desk, just wondered if they would be useful.

Yeah, I'm after the thread designation (example, M12x1.5).

I saw in some of the evo posts that some evos came with magnetic drain bolts and some didn't, but never seen mention if our RA's come with it.

 

If I'm correct all evo's come with magnetic drain bolts. RA's don't come with magnetic drain bolts. Buy a magenetic bolt off ebay for ten bucks.
