Ok, so i have recently been stuck in limp mode... I have 2004 raillart, that i turbo charged, but i don't belive it is causing the problem. I have had a rough idle, and it is putting out a code : p2101 (Throttle Actuator Control Motor Magneto Malfunction)

First off i really don't know what that is, or what i need to replace.. Just please tell me what i would need to replace to fix it and i most likely will be able to get the job done. Should i replace the Throttle body it self ??

 

Also have taken off battery to reset ecu, and it runs fine for about 15seconds before cel comes on, idles at about 1.5k and when put to the floor wont go past 2.3k rpm

 

Either your egr valve is bad, throttle body is dirty or need a new one, your battery could be bad...

Ok, so im thinking its the little motor in the throttle body... It makes a little humming noise.. And when power is pulled from the battery it will work again, but for a short time, then kicks out again... So i'm going to order a new one, but my next question is will a 2007 eclipse tb work with my car?

And i've been wanting to get pics up but have little time, i hope to soon!

 

yeah either the gt or the gs eclipse tb will work although the gt tb will be an upgrade
