Engine cuting off

Hello to all,

My name Derrick and I drive a 2004 Lancer Ralliart with 146,000 miles on it. I have some problems with my car cutting off when the car is cold. It cuts off sometimes but when the car is cold it does it the most. This problem came after my timing belt was changed and the crank POS was changed. The RPM's drop when I let off the gas petal and the motor stalls but sometime it saves it from the stall. Here is my list of MOD’s I hope you can help me this is drive me nuts thanks.

AEM Ram air intake
RRM Underdrive Pulley Kit
RRM Time Attack Clutchline
Act Stage 1 clutch kit
RRM Race Series Alum. Flywheel
RRM Motor Mounts
Tein S.Tech springs
KYB Struts

Is there a way to check the timing on the ralliart I have checked my work and cant find anything wrong. Also can I use a timing light on this car and how to hook it up if I can use one. I belive I installed the CPS right becasuse I was getting a CEL but I am not now. I tried disconnecting the battery to see if a ECU relearning would help but in the relearning mode it shuts off and I have to drive it or put my foot on the gas thanks for your help.

I sorry to bring this back from the past but I never fixed this issue and Iam almost ready to give up. I have checked my timing so many times now I almostknow all the torque specs. Is there anything else that I could be doing wrong? If I try to have the ECU relearn the car will not stay running and I have CEL'sthanks.

you gotta read the codes, but i would say MAF/IAT (same sensor)...

if your cam angle or crank angle sensors aren't hooked up, you won't even get ignition...

How are you checking timing? If the problem happend right after the work was done than something in that area is not right or at least I would think so.

i think it would have to be way off...like more than one tooth to make the car stall out, or too far opposite on the cam and crank.

the cam and crank timing marks should be bang on..and it should be easy to see.
