Damn that dealer sucks sounds like they just didn't want to do the work.. I had that happen to me on a Toyota corolla I didn't even over tighten it the guy called me and said the belt was squeaking I take a look and seen the bolt sticking out and said the exact thing "sweet".. I ended up having to drill it out

All fixed! Drilled pilot hole, extractor jammed in and came out no problem.

Spent more time looking for a new bolt than anything else... Fastenal and Brofasco didn't even carry them. Which is Metric 10, 1.25 thread and 100mm long for a refference.

Ready to rock now...

fastenal doesn't stock them but you can order, usually takes a day or two..

last time i tried that, i got an easy out extractor sheared off in the hole, had to drill around it...nightmare....

Ya I've never had an issue with extractors... Mind you the bolt wasn't rusted in anyway.

They said 2 days for the bolt... Couldn't wait that long. Otherwise I would have had mitsu come grab the car. Since it was the bolt and not the tensioner they said it was covered under warranty...lol
