Starting Problem

Needing help from the gurus. My radiator recently went boom on me, replaced the radiator and now my RA wont start. The start will go, but won't catch, replaced the starter and still the same results.

Here's a video of it going on. Any help would be great.

Have you checked compression? When my brothers old Eclipse overheated and blew the radiator it messed up the head gasket and lost compression.

Actually checked last night, my head gasket is blown. This is the first time I've experience one going out, so I was baffled for a bit.

Thanks a lot for the response though bakuro

not a problem! if you do it yourself make sure that the surface on the bottom of the head and the top of the block are immaculate. Its pretty important that those surfaces be super clean before putting a fresh gasket on and squishing it all together. Im actually about to put my head back on in the next few days so Im right in the middle of that process once again. LOL

"decking" a block by hand is pretty tedious work...
