Mivec Controller

hey guys

I'm new to this whole Mivec thing....i was windering where i can buy a nice Mivec controller and...LOL wat it is used for hehe...i dont even know wat its used for but my cuzin in the states said i should get one....so yea if anyone knows where i can get one please post a link up and let me know wat it is used for too...thnx so much

no, i think he is referring to like a vtec controler for mivec. they have some in new zealand and singapore and australia for other mivec-based mitsu cars. it lets you control the mivec switchover points. i know some of the emanage stuff lets u control vtec, but i highly doubt it will work /w mivec

thnx guys for ur answers and replies so far i can sure use more that would be awsome i jus found out that u can use the Apexi V-tec controller for mivec motors....however i styll dont know wat do u use it for lmao...if u guys can help me and let me know wat its used for that would be awsome and also more places where i can purchase one.!!!!

i hope we can control are mivecs because our mivec setting are pretty low

sammi: the mivec cams make the engine burn more fuel/produce more power after your rev over 3500RPM's. by adjusting the mivec point you can lower (IE: for drag or racing) or raise (for daily drive/long trps) the point where the mivec switches profiles. has anyone done this using the apexi kit, yet?

Yea i wanted to get something to control the mivec but like i haven't heard of anyone trying it yet, and would love to hear a review on it.

that wont work for mivec tuning. it will work to remap you a/f

the emanage is a piggyback system for tuboed cars

It's set too low as is. Setting it lower would hinder performance even more. The high lift T-Lobe in the MIVEC engines only helps at higher revs. Read some of my posts in the following thread. Look for the orange eye.
