yup no hood 50% of the time (depends on the forecast, although i have ran during a pouring down shower with no ill consequences. i semi waterproofed most of my connectors with dielectric greese

I was actually just making a joke. I'll say it again - get the injen CAI. if you dont like it, you can convert it to the SRI with no problem. SRI doesn't move any more air than the CAI if the dimensions of the pipe are the same...Think about it. now one might be able to deliver that air to the engine more quickly, but those gains can also be negated by the fact that the airs hotter than me on the dance floor.

Most of the dragsters go SRI because 12 whp doesnt mean much to 700 whp+ car, when the 12 whp gain takes up so much more engine compartment space.
