question about MAF
question about MAF
ok guys bare with me here im drunk...
chevys and fords, and all cars, have the issue of the air/fuel ratio/mixture...
on fords, if you were to change inyectors you have to change also the MAF sensor would it be great if some company dedicated to this were to make a "racing" mass air flow meter for us?
for example companies like:
grannatelli...
pro-m....
c & l....
to mention some....
this works great for gear heads like us that make a change for bigger inyectors, in case we put nitrous or even turbo...
the purpose of changing the MAF calibration for use with larger injector sizes is to make the computer think that less air is actually entering the engine. by doing this you are making the computer reduce the duration of time that it is opening the fuel injectors at a given air flow rate. the larger the injector that is used, the more the voltage is dropped, and in return, the shorter the time the injectors are pulsed by the computer. this "tricking" of the computer is how a MAF allows the consumer to use a larger fuel injector than what originally came on your vehicle from the factory.....
what do you guys think?

do people think what they say is like retarded so they cover themselves by saying they are drunk. Or is there just a large group of people that pride themselves in being a drunken idiot. Meh...
