It came as part of my carbon fiber dash kit off ebay. It like a 27 piece kit or something. Look in my signature at my ride to see what I'm talking about. Its just an overlay that pretty much covers the whole ash tray lid. Its really nice.. good quality, easy to put on, real cf, not fake.
Here's what I mean, this kind of cf kit. (thats my dash)

I just wanted to clarify a point someone made about *****ing about the car...this is not that really. Just a discussion on the little things that you'd like to see changed. I think the car is great overall - haven't had one problem with ours and it's a blast to drive for the price. MORE than happy with the decision to get it. But no car is perfect, and so here's your chance to say what YOU liked to see changed! Hey, you never know - maybe even Mitsu Corp reads this site *L*.

Oh yea, I want a remote truck release too like someone else mentioned!

Removable cupholders for easier cleaning.
The vents on the dash are either on or off, they won't modulate.
Crap stock tires (getting new tires on Tuesday, I hope).
Door rattles when there's too much bass.
Fog lights stay off if you turn your heads off and back on.

Otherwise, I love my RA. The seats are WAY better than the one in my truck Shifting is smooth and precise, especially compared to my old DSMs. Very little torque steer, considering how much torque it makes. Nice, tight body construction. A couple of my neighbors bought Chevys and Pontiacs, and their doors already sound loose and rattle when you shut the door.

Anyone that wants to try a hollowed-out clutch restrictor, I gutted mine when I put in the RRM line. If you want it, PM me.

Um... I'm fairly happy with the car, except for the stock tires, which i replaced when i got new rims. But yea i guess i could do for real cf dash insert instead of the fake wannabe looking one. Also i could do for heated mirrors, those would be nice. Overall i'm pretty happy with the car, i love the way it looks, even the "thong" on the front grew on me fast. O yea i wouldn't mind for some curtosey (or however you spell it) lights for the passengers when i open my doors, my friends always step/sit on the stuff in my back seat... I put red neons under the front seats to light it up but it doesn't go on when i open the doors.

Gas cap holder would be nice.
Improved fuel mileage would be nice but from what I had before the RalliArt I'm not complaining.
The jerky first to second shift.
Other than that i'm pretty happy with it!

Canadian only. Like the northern States don't get snow in winter.

My list of peeves:

1. Bad gas mileage for a four banger (19-22 city and 25 highway; mine is auto and driven sedately. The 25 mpg is below the MIVEC threshold at 80 mph with AC on. My old 02 Lancer achieved 31-33 under same conditions. Simply unacceptable highway mileage.)

2. Dinky gas tank. A larger gas tank would help alleviate the annoyance with the first peeve.

3. Huge turning radius. Good lord, this is a beast to do u-turns in. Let's reduce it down to a more normal 36 feet please!

4. Torque steer is pretty bad and the front tires lose traction too easily. Some form of traction control would have been a nice option.

5. The ability to add the map lights for dome light only owners would be nice. This car needs more lighting. At least my Sportback has a rear cargo light that comes on with all doors and lights up the back end with the cargo cover out. But this doesn't help me when I want to change CDs or look at a map.

6. Seats need to be more comfortable for long drives. They hold you nice in the shoulder area for hard cornering, but back support is lacking and there are some pressure points in the butt area. Hyundai designs way more comfortable seats believe it or not.

7. Godawful squeak when backing up the first time each morning. I mean its loud!

8. Buzzing passenger door panel if you turn up the bass.

9. Fabric creates some pretty nasty zaps when getting out.

10. Gas cap holder is needed.

11. Noisy original tires.

12. Lack of heated side mirrors. These are very useful in Florida. It gets rid of the dew that completely blinds your view most of the way to work.

13. The stupid fog light switch that doesn't stay on once the lights are switched off.

14. I wish the gauges weren't red and that all the interior lighting matched.

Wow, I just realized I have the biggest list, LOL. I still like the car's good compromise between comfy ride and great handling. Engine performance is strong and smooth. I like the looks and the solid build quality. The sportback design is very functional. But some of those peeves do get on my nerves and ruin my full enjoyment of the car.

I agree with most of the other points BUT mine is the stock ride hight, the rake is backwards and looks stupid.

3. stock tires
4. stock rear sway bar sux
5. throtle-by-wire is anoying, i strongly believe in a direct conection to the tbody (for performance reasons)
6. the rubber bushings on the trunk make the trunk rust because they hold water
7. like ev-slo i hated the stock ride height... made me feel i was in an echo
8. being a "ralliart"... it doesn't have a true ralliart suspension....
9. dash rattles a little bit @ 120+ mph
10. gas milage
11. in some cars you can adjust the pedal position.. i would have been great you could ajusted that in the ra.
12. it would have been great that the interior roof to be color keyd w/ the interior, making the interior darker, more agressive...
13. stock spoiler is ordinary
14. mitsu had to imagine someday people in the aftermarket bussiness would invent a rear strut bar, WHY THE HELL did they put the sub right where they put it, personally i dont quite trust go arrounds since that is sloppy to my belief.....
15. being the "small brother of the evo" it would have been orgasmic AWD even if it wasn't turbo
16. the e-brake (in my case) has to be adjusted from time to time
17. where was a TCS when planing about the "ralliart" theme?
18. considering it is rated as a 'sports car', and this goes for the evo too, why not consider a 2 door desingn? this is just reflecting that most, not to say all sports cars have only 2 doors.....
19. the antena makes it look la a rc car
20 the "carbon fiber" in the dash flakes off if you are not carefull while cleaning it...
21. and the thing that bothers me the most is that like the evo, we could have had a batch inside the car too, like the one that says 'evo' on the evo's dashboard.
it could have had -and we have space for- a ralliart batch in the dashboard, i go into a regular lancer and go into mine and i see superficial diferences but in essence, same sh*t diferent toilet only the seat changes and a little fake carbon fiber but nothing more...

What gas cap holder are you guys talking about? Don't yours come with the attaching wire like on all other cars?

For those complaining about the rattling due to bass, you can pop out the window control panel and put some duct tape or something on the clips to make it fit tighter. It'll get rid of the vibrations.

People don't like the gas cap dangling/swinging against the paint, I agree with them. It would be nice to even just have a hook. But I kind of fix this by hanging the cap string on the gas cover "latch". The string has just enough tension to keep it on there. Works pretty good, actually.
