Quote: our steering wheel size in diameter is much bigger than corrola s...

yeah, I agree, you RA ppl should something like RA steering wheel... or MOMO, just like Subaru's....
Yeah, I like dimpled leather like the Corolla XRS has. Even just a bit of that on the spokes and a smaller diameter, would be perfect.

Are you kidding? The stock ride height is perfect - the front is just barely above every curb I've parked in front of.

I love this car. Yeah the gas mileage sux but that is what we get for getting the car you got..if you wanted better mileage you should have gotten the OZ Rally.

As for the hood shocks...REDLINEMOTORSPORTS.COM i installed them two days before my car got its *** end taken off. they still worked though...they are only like 75 bucks. and i love them.

Wow, I don't think I'm adding anything but I'll vent anyways
1. Gas mileage is worse than my modified 1g DSM with more HP.
2. A REAL overdrive would be nice and cure ^^^. My spitfire has a better reduction FCOL!
3. Suspension that lends itself to rallying without the snap oversteer or collecting more rocks than your average hippie.
4. Paint that sticks to the car and sets up harder than warm butter. I'm not complaining about all the chips, they'll get fixed when the panels rust in another year...
5. Rain gutters or something that channels the rain anywhere BUT directly into my window.
6. Limited slip diff. How can you go from AWD competition racing to ONLY 1WD and call it a Ralliart?!?!?!
7. Rear blind spot right where a car would be lurking. It's a toss up between swapping paint or rear ending someone because you had your head craned around checking that the lane was clear.
8. Being labeled as a sports car for insurance without actually being a sports car.
9. By gawd I wanted 2 sets of T-Tops instead of this wimpy sunroof!!!!!!

Okay, I'm kidding about the t-tops but substitute the clutch and a FULL instrumentation option instead.
Oh yeah almost forgot the worst one.
10. A fricken dealership that doesn't give my car a pap smear like inspection when I'm there for an oil change!!!!!!!!! Get in, get out, give me my keys. I have things to do other than retain a lawyer.... Ahhhhh that actually felt good!

Woaw! Some of you guys need to buy a Toyota or something... But you are all untitled to your opinion though. Here's mine:

I took 3 months to decide on what to buy and after a year of ownership I still think the RalliArt was the best choice for the price. Yeah, the paint is not that great... but the level of equipment is better than the competition, the handling is better than the competition, the power is great and is only bested by the Spec-V, the seats actually keep you in place when driving the car as it was meant to be driven (fast around corners, not on a drag strip)... and quite frankly, I just came back from a 1000 miles trip and went 300 miles on a thank.

Every car has it's little problems... but please choose before you buy!

Back on topic: Pet peeves? Yeah, I've got to find a way to have the fog lights on whenever I want them to be.

i LOVE my pearl white, i think its amazing.

For some odd reason on the way to the beach i got 118.3 miles to a QT. tank. i was amazed, on the way home i got like 65, ger.

edit- i didn't put to much thought into the mpg equation, but wouldn't that be like 41 mpg at 118.3 on QT tank? dunno

You'll find the following dyno comparison interesting:

The Spec-V is either overrated or the Ralliart is underrated.

It's a plastic flapper valve. Keeps water out, but lets air through when you shut your door or run the vent with all the windows closed.

It annoyed the ish outta me, so I went looking. Now that I know what it is, and that it's just doing what it was designed for, it doesn't annoy me as much.

I LOVE MY RALLIART.

But some things that could make it even better are:

1) A sixth gear. I'm driving 110 Km/hr and I am sitting in mid 3 grand RPM's. Just a lil hard on the fuel consumption.

2) A trunk that opens with a push of a button would be nice.

3) A first gear that is a lil smoother. Whatever though, just makes me need to work the clutch a little smoother.

4) More interior lighting, MAN this thing is dark.

5) Larger exhaust tip. No, I don't want a big can on the back, but I will be upgrading the muffler soley because the rear tip doesn't fill out the opening in the bumper.

6) A CD player that doesn't crap out with extended use in hot weather. I was doing a road trip and after 3 hours in 20 Celsius it wouldn't read the CD.

Other than that this thing is awesome. Best Bang for the buck. Never once have I regretted the purchase.
