It's just the styling, I guess...I like my beer cold, my TV loud, and my Dodge Neons flaming...100000000 HP or not.

Nearly every person that has bought one in my area has had serious problems. Everything from the trans, to engine blocks cracking, to the cheap rubbermaid interior falling apart. And even though the lancer econobox interior is nothing to glorify, it still blows the srt out of the water. I've driven those srt's, yes they are fast, but I wouldn't even trade my slow lancer for it, because I know in 3 years, even if I babied it, the srt would have more serious problems than I could deal with. And for the modded ones with increased horsepower, lets just say the engine is in peices right now after less than a year (2 of my friends' srt-4's with around 375hp). They don't hold up very well at all under high hp. The 4g63 engine has proven itself year after year in the evo, so I don't even see why the two are being compared, plus its awd. (not anything in reference to the ralliart cause it has a 4g69, except the quality of mitsu cars compared to dodges)

I would definetly turbo the ralliart. With mivec+turbo, you will be satisfied, plus you don't have to pay the insurance of a turbocharged car. RRM's turbo kit will work out perfect, plus you know they will be there to back you up and help you troubleshoot. RRM's turbo kits have been proven to be reliable over 2 or 3 years now?? correct? You don't want to lose the money of selling your ralliart, only to get something more expensive with higher insurance, and poorer quality.
Either your full of shiat or those so called srt owners that had those serious problems modified the car to a point where it was their own fault.

You say they don't hold very well under high hp but what proof do you have? Because you heard somebody else say it? Gimme a break. The motor was purposely over built. Mainly as a safeguard for dumbasses who want to boost crazy without the correct fuel mods but also because they knew people want to add upgrades. Shiat Mopar was already testing the S3R turbo upgrade even before the car hit the dealers.

But thats because its heavily modified and I doubt most of these kids driving lancers will be able to afford a fully built motor.

How much hp will the base kit put down? How's the powerband look now?

Feel free to come up here, you don't live that far away. These cars were tuned correctly by Godspeed, a professional tuning shop. The cars are poorly built, no biggie. I don't like some things about my car, but at least I admit it. Poor power, ****ty clutch, etc.. I have the ability to fix those things though. My buddies are now stuck with a beater car so that in the meantime they have to get their entire engines rebuilt to sell the car.

Stop making excuses! That's like saying my SRT would have a better 60ft compared to the Evo if we had AWD.

Stock for stock, the SRT p0wnz the ralliart in handling.

There is a long story behind those problems that either you don't know about or your not telling. Are those guys on the srtforums? What's their sn's?

Shiat happens, not all cars come off the line perfect but that doesn't mean poor quality.

One doesn't have a computer, and the other.. like I would actually hand out his screename? hahaha, especially in public? sure. I can check to see if he uses the srt forums, I'm unsure. I will check for you when he gets back from new york in a week or so.

Better stock tires doesn't make a car handle better... suspension does. Better tires would improve your lateral G's a bit though (so better skidpad numbers). But you wouldn't know what handling is anyway, you bought a freakin' Neon didn't you!?!

Go back to your Neon buddies... they will understand your pain and confort you. But don't come here falsly claiming your's is a nicely handling car... it handles like sh*t!

Now you are just getting mad and upset. You are so immature that you have to post pictures that I'm sharing for the public to see anyways and you exploit them? haha. Actually it wasn't a family vacation. It was just a nice trip my gf and I took last year. Sigh, typical mentality of a neon driver.

BTW: Why would someone so in love with his car roam the RA forums??? Secretely envious?

You don't see me posting on the aforementionned Neon site, do you? I know I have a good car... I don't have to go to the Neon forum and try to convince your judgement-lacking buddies of that fact...
