there is one thing too about the quality of the build that the Neon lack....it lacks refinement, it lacks a solid shift...ALL cars now seem like they have a very rubbery shifter..like the SE-R spec-V, VW (any model), Dodge Neon Srt-4, But not the Lancer...the shift is precise and clean! TGhe whole mechanics of the car is excellent! Giving up an Ralliart for an SRT-4 is stupid! When I am done with putting on the ripp modds supercharger for my OZ, then I will buy the ralliart...I love these cars, and mine is a 2002 and has 80,000 miles,...any problems? No! It has moved from AZ to TX to CA and been off-roading in a flash flood river all the way to sneaking a few laps in at firebird raceway in PHX, driving through high water creeks during storms in TX! Its quick, not fast, but it gives me a smile when I drive it, and its a beast....SO KEEP THE LANCER
