Actually, according to consumerreports.org Kia is ranked very high in quality, far above dodge. But here are the top 5 cars for most reliable in 2004. Toyota Corolla, Scion xB, Mazda 3, Subaru Imprezza, Mitsubishi Lancer.

why not consider a wrx? u can easily find an 02-04 for $20,000 ( same price as the srt-4 )
Plus it's awd, turbo'd, and has better handling than the srt4

No kid. I wouldn't own either of these cars, but I get a kick out of Mitsu cheerleaders. Unless they own an EVO, anyone driving a Mitsubishi product is in no position to criticize anything!

Actually, this sounds like the best choice to me in this price range... I personnally consider the WRX for my next car. It's the best compromise between the RA and the EVO (which will still be a bit too pricey for me and is still not sold here at this time).
