as you guys know..i currently picked up a gc8 body style RS impreza.. ok non-turbo....(yet) and.. ive been a mitsu guy ever since... my honest opinion about this is...go with the AWD... u can make anything FAST!! but its hard to convert a non awd car to awd.. if yah know wut i mean.. i had a lancer..(non RA) it was FWD auto... now im driving my suby..AWD manual ...im really happy.. and RS arent that slow.. they are pretty peppy for wut they are.. RA's are nice too.. but over all.. being a front wheel drive just kills it.. go with AWD.. if its nessecary... like everyone said..drive both.. and yeah.. pls dont get an 06...get 04-05 bodystlye... the 06 are just to ugly.. other than that..get the subaru.. its worth it..

RalliArt is too weak and less mods. Definately a WRX

 

I'm too lazy too look back but when did he start comparing an RA to a WRX? thats quite a different price range now that just under 19k for both

Impreza or Ralliart ...depends on what you want to do with it...racing? car shows? drifting?sound ?picking up babes? ....well for racing you can always slap a turbo and swap the hood on the Impreza and get wrx badges!..theres more aftermarket parts than there are for RA's, for show there are way too many subys outhere so you gotta go RA ,for sound i know the same sub will pound more inside a RA than a suby, well at least an 02 suby ,for drifting well you can drift AWD, i dont see it with the fwd!, for babes...save and decide between an Evo and STi!

 

well im probably gonna race it and show it, thats another reason why im having a hard time between impreza and ralliart, at import wars in hershey this year there was like a million impreza's but maybe 3 or 4 lancers there

 

was there any ralliart lancers? i have not seen one in any car shows yet all you see is regular lancers and maybe an evo or 2....this year i been to 5 car shows and no Ralliarts ! only OZ rally and base lancers....

 

Do yourself a favor and buy the Suby because the only Mitsu worth buying is the Evo. I have had a WRX, STi, and Evo so I know.

Get the RA body you will love it ,by a 05 for a big discount and with the money you save buy a second car for the snow LOL

Who would have thought an Evo owner would have such a high regard for the RalliArt... I'm in shock.

Glad to have some OZ/ES owners on this forum... at least we can hang out with less condescending people on here from time to time.

Yeah... they often show up on here (the EVO forum must be so boring!). And they always leave the same comment too... "you should get an EVO, you should have bought an EVO, EVO's are so much better, my dad is better than yours too..." and so on. At first I was kinda pissed, then I thought it was kinda sad that so much people with issues would own the car of my dreams, then I began to think this was rather pathetic and as such was worthy of a good laugh.

Let me says this: If you ever want an opinion of the RA from an EVO owner, talk to one that has actually driven one... or better, one who also owns one (like Joe's_Evo8 on here). You might be surprised by what they have to say...

Now this is still my advise, go get an WRX, that's something worth buying. if not, go get yourself a CivicSI or Scion. No point in wasting money in 2.5i nor RalliArt.
