Talk about diluting some good engineering. Trying to get Chrysler into the 21st century was like trying to raise a dead horse back on it's legs... if you sacrifice a lot of effort, it will finally stand up. But how long are you gonna keep it up before you finally realize it's dead meat anyway?

Damn I love laughing at those dometics... I wonder if it shows?

I love my RA. I have a Sportback which is an automatic. It handles great and has lots of power. The interior is nice and you can get a great deal on one if you work at it a bit. The Mistu. dealer by me has more '05s than '06s.

If you test drive one you'll like it.

I traded my ES for the Ralliart without even test driving it...it was a bold move(and stupid) but I have 0 regrets. I saw it as a faster, better handling, better looking(all around) car, with no other cars matching it in the price range. You wont be dissapointed.

I've had my 2004 Ralliart for almost two years now and not a single problem with it. Its terrific. However, If I can give one piece of advice from someone who owns two 2.4L mivec cars, one manual and one automatic, Get the manual. The ralliart has the best shifter of any car under 20K and it is an absolute delight to drive. I have a trafficy commute but seing as I only get one car to drive, I'd choose manual any day of the week. If you can drive manual, give it a test drive, you'll like the evolution shifter.

until i bought my RA i was never into the whole import scene. In fact, i was always the guy that told people with tuner cars that there ride was gay. I have previously owned jacked up trucks and musclecars, until now. When i decided it was time to get something more economical and test drove a few cars, i started to relize why people wanted the 2 & 4 door imports. They were cheap, economical, easily customized, and fun to drive.

Anyways, i have driven an 05 civic 2door, maximas, RA's, and a few others. For the price i would definately say go for the ralli art if you want the complete package. make sure you get the S&S package, unless you want 12" subs or something like that. For someone younger the RA is the way to go because the only drawback is the lower comfort level compared to competitors, but it makes up for it in performance and handling.

anime, you'll like the Ralliart. It has a bigger motor (even than the Evo) which gives it a very powerful feeling, but it moves like it's light and nimble. The interior isn't fancy, but eveything is in a good place and it's spacious for a smaller car, plus the seats rock. And it comes wth just about every goodie you could want (CD, power windows/locks, keyless entry) standard.

Actually, I always wanted a remote trunk release and the salesman at the local dealer said "yeah, it's got all that standard"... well, better luck next time. I wonder if they decided to add that option on the '06 model though?

well, i was gonna get it in a year or so....cuz i aint got the dollar right now. I was gonna get it as an automatic since i'll be in heavy traffic, and i heard its really annoying to drive in traffic with a stick. plus i want to cruise in that car, dont want to push it since i wont be racing, just getting from point A to B really really quick. i was thinking of making me **** a sleeper so then i could smoke someone that bothered the hell outta me cuz i live in Fairfax, VA and they are annoying as hell to drive with.....rich *** people that got soo much money to spend so they dotn give a rat's *** about their bmw's/benz.

Yeah, shifting in bumper to bumper traffic is very annoying but as soon as I get past the traffic, I'm glad I have a stick. To each his own, just know that the ralliart shifter is extra special and you will be missing out on it by getting an auto. Just my .02

A buddy of mine bought an '05 A/T RA... and has been wanting to trade it in for a M/T ever since. The M/T is a big part of the experience where the RA is concerned. And it also partly explains the lack of sales (and subsequent end of production) of the Sportback model...

Hey, hey, hey!! Let not get personal. LOL

I did have to laugh. Today when I was at the dealership I overheard a lady say she didn't like the Outlander cause it was an SUV and wished they had a small wagon. I didn't tell her she missed them by a few months (I got mine in June).

personally i would look into the new civic line up if youre just planning to just cruise around town. the new civic interior is sick and i would say honda or any other japanesse car company is more balanced than mitsubishi.

Balanced??? you mean like the new civic Si with 192 hp and 139 lb-ft torque? yeah that sounds really balanced to me... (please note the sarcasm)
