yeah the camry and integra have been batteling each other for #1 stolen car for the past 10yrs i know that cant help your insurance. Insurance is really hard to compare on internet forums because theirs a lot of different factors besides age and accidents. Its weird, when i bought my Evo the insurance only went up $100 every 6 months compared to my Civic Si. Just go to progressive's website and get a free quote so you get somewhat of a idea how much insurance is gonna be on a car for you.

I feel your pain though... in '98 with the VW Golf, I had what could be the worst badlucks you can ever get with one car. First, in may I stopped at a red light and this idiot ran into the back of me: "Oh sorry, I didn't see the light..."! Got the car back from the shop 3 weeks later. Then in july, I was sitting at home around midnight when I hear a loud BANG! Something in the back of my mind tells me I should go check on the car, and what do you know? A 4x4 ran into my parked car. The result, rear fender, door and front fender dammage, two wheels and the rear wheel assembly replaced (the guy hit my car so hard it banged against the sidewalk!!!). Then in september, I got into the first (and only) accident in my life for which I was responsible (off ramp, rainy day and oil spill from a truck).

My insurance jumped from 1000$CAN (800$US) to 1600$CAN (1200$US)! It took me 6 years to get all this behind me... so this year my insurance premium is even lower than last year. But at 35, it's about time I pay a reasonable premium for a change...

Funny, I didn't get those in a while (I'm sure I'll regret saying that now...). I must have developed a sixth sense (7th actually, but that's another story)... because I'm not driving slower, on the contrary.

nice!! so far i only got one ticket which was not stopping at a red light but that was during my big car accident which totalled my car. because my car is so old, it would still cost about 4000 to fix it so it would be totalled. the frame might of been bent. oh well........i'll probbaly get a lancer in about 2-3 years.....damnit i needa get a second job.
