Wasn't raggin on ya about the <1k miles dragging...just not a choice I would've made. I still think you'll win, the RA has surprised me more often than not, much like the Civics and CRXs do. The HP numbers just don't reflect the amount of power they actually put out. Go forth and whippeth his ***! I lost by less than a bumper to a Prelude that was running a good bit of bolt ons and claimed about 195 whp. I was completely stock at the time so I was expecting a much larger loss. And that was on the ****years, AND that was my FIRST time ever drag racing.

Gawd dam, the tC owner can not drive. I seriously thought you would lose, but props on the win, but gawd dam, the tC owner can not launch... WTF is a 2.9??? Tell that guy to run across the freeway while playing with fire.

HEY! I drive the tC that raced the ralliart. This screen name is something I just got a long time ago when I was checking out the forum.

ARITHMETIC, sorry to hurt your feelings but the ralliart did lose but he did pull the better times as you can see. First run was explained to me that it went to me cuz of the lesser redlight time but I honestly wouldnt count that race since we both got a little to happy on that run. And on the second run, I had him off the line and came across the line first, but better time went to him. He was about 1/2 car to a car behind me on that one. Yeah, that 2.9 sucked cuz i kept bouncing off the rev-limiter.

You can PM me at tarheel_tc, just waiting for the site admin to allow me to post under that name!

dude, you came off the light .1 sec behind me on the first run and i literally had CARS on you. my 15.949 to your 16.2999!!!!! i left you behind!!!! then on the second run, you got a .5 sec head start and i reeled you in. that's why i still got the better time! why do i have the white slip that says i finished first the first race? cause i won!!! then you won the second race cause you got me off the light. ADMIT IT!!!

once again he gives me no props. he's posted the results on the tc sights and the dragguam site and gave me no props for running faster in my stock ralliart to his MODDED tC! i'll give you props again! props to your tC. you have better top end. that's why your mph is higher. i'll be going back when i'm not stock anymore. i got my baseline. as you guys can see tho, the RA is a faster car stock to a modded tC tho.

Dude, i did give you props on the other forums, just not in my first post cuz i just "cut and paste" onto all the forums. Yeah, I admit it, you had me by a few cars on the first run. And yesterday, how many times did I say it was one/one each. But after you left, it was explained to me by a few of the DRAG officials that both wins go to me cuz of the smaller redlight. Yeah, you got the white copy cuz the volunteer handing the tickets was going by the final time. Which yes you did run a 15.9, give you props on that!

Not counting off-the-line reaction times, it looks like the RA had better 1/4 mile times on both runs. 15.9490 vs 16.2999 and 16.0170 vs 16.0220

rallipro101, how much did the I/H/E cost you?

Still looks like if the tC could get the launch down, he'd win.

As a general rule, for every tenth you can get off your 60', it takes two tenths off your ET. If they both had 2.39 60', the tC owner would have won.

Rallipro101, go practice your launches. You should not be bouncing off the rev limiter. You shouldn't be spinning your tires. All you want is a squeak from them on the launch, and maybe another shorter squeak on the 1-2 shift. Any more spin than that is just lost time.

Launching an AWD car is easy, rev it up to whatever your drivetrain can take, and dump the clutch. Launching a FWD car is definitely an art form that takes time to develop.

with the density altitude at 2600ft. it's no wonder we were in the 16's. it's already been stated that guam humidity kills your times. on average we run .4 sec slower than in the states. so i would have been running consistent mid 15's and he would have been running very inconsistent high 15's. that's about average for the RA. so i didn't do too bad. gettin traction here on street tires is near impossible. no one gets better than a 2.3 on street tires. there are people running 2.0\2.1's on slicks. the track is unprepped. so keep you ignorant posts outta my thread. anyways, i bested him everytime. he got the win on second run cause he got the light. end of discussion. i proved my point. it takes more than i/h/e to beat a stock ralliart in a tC. now it's my turn to mod. i doubt it'll be pretty for him now.

thats what I was thinking. He has i/h/e and he still barely did anything but stock RA performance. Good for him. nice investment. thats why I told the guy at the yota stealership to get lost when he asked me if I had driven a tc. I drove a corolla s and that would prolly outrun the tc. wussy car

thank you Danderous DAN!!!! you see the POINT!!! the tC will be fried like chicken once i start to mod. even from a roll i walk the tC until his top end starts to make a difference at 100mph. but with just a downpipe i think that will change. i plan on getting the rrm ecu, downpipe, and a cai. with those mods, i think i'll see 30whp. see as now i can tune the ecu myself and rrm got 27whp from ecu, cai, and axleback. i know the downpipe will give me more than the axleback. plus, i want to still look stock. you know, sleeper
