I have searched for "how to" "ticking" "how-to" "ticking" etc...

And searched for valves and lifters and I could not find it if you'd please enlighten me.

btw I am not entirely sure the sound I am hearing is abnormal - I am going to take some video of the sound (no voice recorder, but I have a camcorder) and put it on putfile. I'll link it shortly (charging cam LOL)

This is what it sounds like at idle ALL THE TIME (in this vid, I had just driven 30 miles and shut it down to take the vid)

Ok... I have noticed that sometimes it is louder than others, that was particularly loud in the vid due to it reflecting off of the car next to me, if I am not parked right next to something I have to listen closely or get out and go up to the front of the car to hear it.

I just wanted to make sure that *some* ticking is normal and that it's not supposed to be stealthily silent =)
