Shift Points
Shift Points
Hey guys, I have been driving my car lately, and I was just wondering what do ya'll use for your shift points, both around town, and at the track, as in the shift points that offered you your fastest time? I generally shift between 2500 and 3500 around town, and when really gunning it, i go up to 6k, then shift and keep it up to 6k up to the rest of the gears. I was just wondering what the best shift points you guys have found for your cars are.
around town i change around 3k and for the track 6400, keep in mind that i have a g-tech and i have calibrated the shift light ...its a bit easier, but if you are wanting some fun stay on it till 6900 and you'll heard the the Ralliart Roar....lol...

yea until your car 'splode's and the piston's come flying out...
wish i can stay out of mivec but this is one of the slowest cars i have owned, so i usually aways shift after mivec, plus to me driving anytime is fun. i tried staying under mivec for one tank to see the diff in gas and went crazy.

that around 85 or 90 is fun on the highway. doesn't take much effort at all to keep it there, and still has pull if you need to go faster. Of course, I would never drive that fast on the highway and don't recommend it.
