Oh yah guys... I'm going to the doctor on Monday for my back. It has been progressively getting worse, and I can't stand it anymore.

Wow, I've been off the boards for some time and didn't even know about this untill about a half hour ago when I started reading this thread.... I can personally attest that the lower arms on the front suspension are made out of tissue paper. I smacked a wall last year and tore the lower arm but.... It didn't tear the whole freaking assembly off! Something or things were/are seriously wrong with your car (big news to you huh?)! Now I'm torn between wanting rid of this cursed line of cars or holding onto it as a collectible since they're dropping out left and right. I feel your pain man, you pour your heart and soul into a car and defend it to the bitter end and it's all for nothing. What the hell is Mitsubishi doing to us? Any diamond star that isn't an EVO gets crap for respect, response, and resale from the dealerships. They need to realise the same thing GM, FORD, and Chrysler need to, there is more (WAY MORE) than 1 lemonade stand around boys. Either listen to our complaints and start smooching some tush or expect to lose us as customers. I hate to see you go CF, but I can understand why you can't stay with a mitsu after this. Oh and not like you haven't heard it 20 times before but... It's time to get midevil on their butt with a blowtorch and a pair of pliers. Don't stop twisting untill you've recouped EVERYTHING (including the cost of a rental when your mother had to walk, even though you didn't have one it's due to you) you can from Mitsu.

Yah if my car would have hit the wall before the wheel fell off the problem would have been resolved by now. I'm not leaving you guys, dont worry. I'm staying around here. I'll be in off topic. I'll chime in to RA General when I can. I am interested to see where the car is going.
Hey guys. I just went to the doctor. They just gave me a prescription for a bunch of steroids to help my back. YAY! I'm gunna be doped like a major league ball player

I must have been lucky. I shouldn't admit it, but I was going too fast and went right over a parking block with both my front tires. I hit it hard enough to crack the concrete in half. No damage, no misalignment, I didn't even wreck a tire! I should mention there was ice in the parking lot, ice I didn't see. Granted the load would have been horizontal on the control arm, the direction that it's quite strong.

Yeah our control arms do suck, ive already been through one and i had a similar instance to you too, only it bent instead of broke, 1500 bucks later, mitsu says its owner abuse and im up **** creek without a paddle, stuck paying.
I scanned this thread and I thought it would be resolved by now! My .02 comment is make sure you are satisfied with your car before you give back the loaner. I had bodywork done at the Ford dealer at Tel-12 (forgot the name. I live in Chicago now). I had a loaner. They told me my car was ready so I turned in the loaner and then went to check out my car. Drove around for a few hours and the car was out of alignment. They accepted the car back and said it would be another week to fix. Went to get my loaner back and they said they already gave it to somebody else. They said it was Friday and all their cars were gone.
DON'T GIVE THEM THEIR CAR BACK UNTIL YOU ARE FULLY SATISFIED WITH YOURS!

Hmm well today is the magical day. They are going to call me in a little bit for me to come look at it. I asked if they had fixed the big scratch on the back door and they said they aren't sure because the car is dirty. That kind of scares me. I figured they would have washed it before doing painting on it. Oh well. If the paint isn't flawless I'm not taking it.
