EDIT: didn't know how to do his job
No they just assumed the damage wasn't as bad as it looks, the dealership hasn't even fully inspected the vehicle. They are are guess and check ordering parts without doing an inspection... I really hope the car falls apart when they test drive it.

Service Manager "The car is not that damaged, we will have it done for you by friday"

LMAO!
They might have it driveable by Friday, but the bodywork it needs will take a bit longer than that, even if they just replace everything and paint it.

Personally, I wouldn't want it if they fixed it that fast after sitting on it for a month. You know they're going to cut every corner they can to speed up the process.

ok I misunderstood the lady. She said Friday the 8th.... That gives them 7 days to have it done because they don't do weekend work. They also don't even have all the parts in yet.

No way I'd be willing to get it repaired.

If this were to happen to my Ralli tomorrow I'd be putting myself in another vehicle at Mitsu's expense one way or another...

But that's just me - I don't tend to let people (or companies) walk on me.

Was fun when I got 4 managers fired from a local Wal-Mart.

As a safety option I would look at getting your insurance company to check out the car by an independent as they are the people that will be re-insuring your car if they won't do it then get an independent repairer/engineer to check the car out before signing any forms to say that you are accepting the car as it is presented to you

already planned on that. Also I am going to have the Mechanic who worked on it take it on the highway first while I follow him. I am not risking my life in the vehicle first.
