Sounds like you don't take it until it is fixed and I mean like new.

Well of course. That is what is expected when you bring a new car with 10,000 miles on it into a shop to be fixed. The car was functioning like brand new before the point of failure.

After reading this thread, I am really glad I traded in my ralliart. I hated the dealership anyway. One of the service techs was telling me if I didn't have my oil changes done at the dealer they wouldn't honor any warranty claims. Here is the kicker, the service department was open only monday-friday 8-5. When I am at work 30 miles away. And no, they would shuttle me to work. I bought a scion, customer service kicks butt and they are cool about mods. The service manager even told me my hotchkis springs don't void the suspension warranty because it isn't more than a 2' drop. Really mitsu sucks.

Tobad, glad I got a nice dealshiper to dealwith, walk in the showroom and they have a wall of performance mods bunch of RRM mods to, and a lowered, bodykitted RA with intake, pulley, and exhuast with 19" wheels(built it for a carshow). When I bought my car they said I can put anything I can imagine on it and not void warrenty. Altho if Im sure a turbo would.

sorry

Maybe they are waiting for the new model to come out before they replace mine

Wow!

The body shop at the dealer just called me. They said to bring my car back in so they could put some O-Ring on the MAF so my check engine light would go off. I was kind of puzzled and was like..

"Are you kidding me?! You still have my car... you were putting a clutch in and fixing power steering I thought."

He said "You car was written down that it was finished. It was picked up."

I was like uhhh no... i came and test drove it and it still needed more work.

He sounded kind of frantic and hung up with me really quick and said he would call me back.

I have a feeling my car is either lost, stolen, or borrowed. This is going to be GREAT! How the hell do you lose a car from a packing lot?

I'll get back to you guys when they find it.

They found it! They moved it from the GMC dealership back to the Mitsubishi dealership without telling anybody.

Looks like we are waiting for a power steering pump.. They aren't doing anything about the brakes or clutch. *sigh* Looks like that will be after the next time I test drive it.

Well.. my mom was driving the rental car and the windshield broke. I went to the dealership to get a new rental car and I went to take a look at my car. The whole thing is completely scratched. They also seem to have repainted the front bumper since the last time I looked. The paint has bubbles and clots all over.

The rental car they gave me is another 2007 Taurus. It is Sea Foam Green and has some sweet hub caps and a Tape player in it. Seriously.. why would Ford put a tape player in a 2007 vehicle?!

Are you going to suggest to them to pay your personal property tax on it since they'll obviously have possesion of it on Jan 1st? You seriously need to involve someone/thing with an *** load of pressure to this dealership. Media/legal/leaflet campaign... SOMETHING! I hope I never have to go thru everything you are and still have to make payments on something I haven't even driven for two months...

damn son... 2 months and you still dont have your whip...

talking about how mitsu backs their car up, this is one of the best prime examples how mitsu is when it comes down to mechanical failures that is caused by their engineering.

its their fault no matter what, i couldnt believe it that you waited so long to get this resolved... i would of hired a attorney and get it settled. I would make sure I will get a new car on top of that too... i wouldnt keep that piece at all.. and you should of told them not to waste their time fixing it instead just give you a new one.
