Serious Mechanical Failure = No more RA
They replaced the power steering pump the other day. They said they just had to detail the car again and it would be good to go. Well they never called back. Imagine that.

Im sorry to hijack the thread, but I just heard by 2 friends of mine that just two days ago another RA suffered from the same mechanical failure in PR. I didnt see the crash, although they told me the driver front suspension assembly was off the car, so it figures....
Isnt there a way (for us concerned owners that havent gone through a mechanical failure) to contact the NHTSA about this issue in order for them to make Mitsu issue a recall or something? It worries me a lot.

we are still working on price with the insurance and the dealership. It is around 8200 right now. I just found they have to replace my front bumper because it has a huge crack in it that they hid very well.
I would feel really bad if a car enthusiast got it. I am afraid there is really nothing I can do about it though. It will probably be a dealer trade in, so what they decide to do with it is beyond me.
It should have been a total IMHO, if it is approaching $9k in everything that is more than 75% of the value and someone made a mistake in determining all of the problems with the car.
Although please take my advice and trade that thing out of state...lol

I will take some pictures of the invoice. It is a joke. They filled it up with nuts, bolts, and washers so it looks like a lot of stuff is on there.
