On that note, I think that I have pretty much decided that if I were to do a custom job, 2.25" would be my choice over 2.5" based mainly on this...


Now I still have more questions. If I were to get a muffler with a 2.25 inlet, could it be welded onto my stock piping even since it's 2.125"?

Would there be a, if any, noticable difference between the 2.125 and a 2.25 cat- and/or axleback?

Is a catback even necessary, or would an axleback be sufficient (not likely to go turbo ).

Are both RRM's exhaust 2.25 piping?

I do understand that I would "lose low-end, gain high-end" as the pipe gets larger, and larger likely would mean a little louder too.

I'm sorry if these questions are noob-ish, and if you want to throw insults, can you at least throw some information my way too?
