HID kit question

when you guys installed a hid kit on your car did you also have to change the fuses to the headlights? and if you did, wich ones were they or what numbers were they in the fuse box?

Sorry This Guy if I'm about to thread jack but I figured since you got your answer already it woudln't be a problem. Anyway...

I was wondering on HID kits if it is necessary to get the ballasts or if I could just use the brighter bulbs? and do 9007 HID kits have the high/low beams or is it just one brightness setting?

You must use a ballast and there are hi/low (bi-xenon) HID kits available.

Isn't there some screw or bolt that you have to turn to adjust the height of the beam?

are you putting them in stock headlights? not sure how to adjust those. as far as the hi beams not working, make sure you have be-xenon HIDs

there's a screw on the lower part of the headlight to adjust the height reflection on your lights... it has a 10mm screw... the passengers side is difficult to reach... but you CAN adjust it!!!!

if you bought Bi-Xenon you should have 4 ballasts... if you bought hi/low HID kit, it uses a motorized bulb... that moves the bulb to the front to get a higher beam... if your bulb doesn't move then it's just single/low beam!

motorized: (not bi xenon)

PS: PM'd you This Guy!!! yes it was me lol....
