grinding noise when on throttle in turn when cold

Again, I want to mention that this weird noise that no one can explain only happens to me in cold weather (aka -4 or colder), when turning either left or right, and -only- when there's wheel slip. Without wheel slip, no noise.
Dealer blamed CV joint grease making noise in the cold when under pressure. Meh.
