I already filed a complaint with AMVIC
what I'm wondering now is should I wait for a reply from amvic before bringing my car back in for them to fix the door and other things? or should I bring it in tomorrow?
also, I was looking in the showroom at a brand new GTS where the dealer had installed an Injen CAI and a cat back. I popped the hood and what do you know... more crappy work where they didn't put the grill pop-pins back in.... I feel sorry for the dude who is getting that car since it said "Sold" to someone (I forgot his name) on the windshield, chances are he won't catch it... I'm planning on also filing a complaint with Mitsubishi Canada...
But does anyone know if whether or not I should wait for a reply from AMVIC? or should I bring it in.. yet again...?

I was pretty busy today and will be for the next week. Monday was pretty much the only day I had free this week to bring it in... and she doesn't show up...
oh well.. I'll live with the small puddle of tranny oil on my driveway for a bit... I'm going to send mitsubishi Canada a complaint file, along with BBB.
I can't have confidence in the mitsu dealers in my city anymore... or mistsubishi vehicals at all for that matter... one of the other locations is owned by the same company that owns the one I was working with. and the other one I know has bad service... so I'm pretty much boned... I would really be satisfied with a brand new car in exhange for my old one and all the screwups that they did... anyone know my chances of this happening...?

cut your losses and fix it yourself, you're still ahead with new gearbox parts.
here's the door pics to reconnect the linkages, cable linkage (#9) goes to upper inside lock button
rod linkage (#9) goes to inner door handle (#1, pic 2)
you can probably just remove the inner handle cover(#4, pic 1) and get at the linkages (#9) W/O removing the whole panel (#5)
the axle seal is not too much harder, you may be able to find a good AM shop to do the axle seal, it's a common repair. Research and try to find someone with a good rep. We have an AM talk radio car guy here that has a list of 5 good shops in the area.

thats what I thought... thanks for the diagrams. I'm bringing it tomorrow if i can fit it in somehow. as for gearbox parts... it's not shifting as smoothly anymore... I'm thinking it's due to the oil lossed...
I know it's sometimes annoying to have someone watch you work, but i'm going to request to watch this all be done, and watch them torque the drain plugs, 24+/-1 ftlb I believe.
and on the side note, how hard would it be to replace the front sealed wheel bearing yourself? do you need a press or any special tools?

where do i get some of that? My buddy has a top mount intercooler and we were thinking of putting a block of dry ice on top and putting chicken wire on top of it to hold it down on one of his lapping days to see how it goes.. lol

slim and none, hardly ever happens, only when it's almost new

chances are I need someone with a slimjim or other vehicle entry tools to unlock the mechanism at the latch, and then probably another one to pull the latch open
and another update, she isn't returning my calls....

My local Tv station has a thing called 'trouble shooter' where the publicize scams and such on the news, i'm at the point of going public with this... I'm going to try and contact the general manager tomorrow, after that, It's going to be mitsu canada and trouble shooter
