Clutch from eclipse fit in Ralliart?
I've got a stage 2 exedy clutch and fidanza light-weight flywheel that my friend sold me for $400. His eclipse had the same 4g69 motor but is the transmission the same? Will that aftermarket clutch fit the tranny of the RA?
I don't think it will... it might though... according to the exedy website, the eclipse clutch plate has a 230mm diameter plate while the RA has a 228 mm diameter plate, not too sure about the flywheels
Is this the kit u have?

Honestly, i'm not sure if that is it because I bought it off a co-worker how's had the clutch and flywheel for a little while now. He was going to use it in his eclipse before he totaled it and said that cause it was a 4g69 eclipse that it would fit in my RA. Honestly, I'm not looking for trial and error here. Sorry, I just don't have the time to see if it fits.
Yeah let us know, i know the ralliart can use parts from other cars, but not sure which ones, it would def save some people some money if they could buy parts from other cards to fit on the RA, especially clutch/flywheel upgrade

Check with bruce998 (or whatever the numbers are in his UN.) I think at one point, a shop installed the wrong clutch/pp in his car and it had a rubbing issue (against the bellhousing.) Might've been an Eclipse 4G69 clutch.
By the way, if any ralliart gurus could give me a pm with there numbers I'd greatly appreciate it. My crew and I are having a hard time trying to pull the tranny off the engine. thanks!
Anyways I bought a Works stage 2 clutch from them and for some reason the pressure plate wouldn't sit level like it should. Wound up having a rubbing problem and 10K miles down the line I blew out a 2nd gear synchro and other misc tranny parts (not related to the clutch). While they had it apart I had them check out the rubbing sound and we found this:

I had a part of the pressure plate machined down to prevent anymore rubbing. Litterally only like 1mm of metal taken off. Anyways I don't have any problems with the clutch, though somewhere in teh transmission/clutch setup I have this notorious whirring sound that I'm sure half of you have and half of you don't that goes away when you push down the clutch pedal.

Enjoy... I blew 2400$ rebuilding my transmission twice because I was cheap and went to a "friend of a friend" instead of going to a reputatable transmission shop. Car runs fine now.. but I was without a car for 3 months.
