I have actually seen these cars in person. For starters Congrats on your new car!!! Hope you hae fun with it...hell its a brand spankin new car! Im not a big fan of the front end, but hey Im not a big fan of that new "cooperate stlye" on any of the new mitsu. Thats also including the EVO8. But I do like the interior and reworked ***-end of the car. Hey have fun with your new ride there.....
PS Just stick your tongue out at the nay sayers just knowing you have a biggger and better engine!!

I think it's a good middle of the road car for the Lancer line. More power than the OZ w/ the EVO tranny and a reworked suspension.

Now if they could just add AWD as an option the Impreza 2.5 RS would have serious competition.

All in all I think of the Ralliart as the EVO's little brother, and the ES/OZ's son, b/c that chrome grill that they used to have looks like something on my grandparents car.

Congrats!!!

Picked up my new Ralliart Sportback on Wednesday, and I'm running out of valid excuses to drive it - how many times can you go to the store in one evening? Still breaking it in, so I don't dip into the higher rev ranges, but it sure is a blast to drive! I think what I enjoy most is the immediate responsiveness when I need to, for example, pass a left-lane bandit; just point and shoot. The power is there right away - unlike, say, a VW 1.8T, which has a moment of turbo lag, and the power is more manageable that the 1.8T, which seems to be all or nothing.

Anyway, once it's broken in and I feel more comfortable exercising the higher rev ranges, I'll report on what sport compact or 1.8T I humiliated today :-)
In another thread there's a report that Motor Trend got a sub-15 second quarter mile in a Ralliart - I believe it.

I bought the same car a couple of weeks ago, but the Thunder Grays are rare around her so I have to wait til January for it.

I can't wait.

They are factory. I got them at my dealer. They are salty but they are made for the car and have the sweet little mitsu logos on them. It cost me in the low 300's for everything. They were expensive but I love them. They were worth it.
