For the price I would go aftermarket with both. Since the stock knob is just a piece of plastic with a black baseball pattern on it , and the genuine leather boot is crap IMO if your interested in aftermarket look below, if not GTFO jk

A weighted shift knob will help out with more smooth shifting and less grinding. I have the Blox 490le neo and I have loved it.

Combined with the shifter base bushings and underhood bushings you will have a solid feel of the car. A short shifter could be thrown into the mix but we already get a short shifter stock , going shorter will give minimum results.

Here is a site that custom makes whatever color/style boot you want, for just a few bucks more than oem.

Wow...I wish I knew about those other sites when I was looking for a new shift knob. But oh well, the one I got I actually like. It's a little lighter than what Lanzer posted, the one I got was 340 grams, it's still a nice weight though.

i should be shopping there...my boot is pretty rough, my sweaty fingers have turned one side of it into beef jerky...it's gross...maybe i'll get black with red stitch...or maybe just "in your face" red...

for the shift knob, or course i'll get it from Ziggy...great guy, local business, win-win

I got quoted on a stealership a few months ago $138 for the knob and $87 for the boot, and yes I'm serious. I should of asked if that quote included oil change and detailing

I would pay $40 for the boot but $78 for the knob is still ridiculous.

CrAnSwIcK, that knob you posted looks great...gonna check how much is the shipping
