Evo Aluminum Radiator

Hey guys, I did some searching already and I was finding that the Evo radiator will fit our cars. I was finding some conflicting info though, does it need any modification to fit or does it fit fine. Also we can reuse the stock fans?

EBAY LINK This is the one I'm looking at. My radiator just broke, the top plastic part is leaking terribly.

you'll need aftermarket fans most likely and will need to get a little creative with the tubing.

I used a mishimoto evo8 radiator to replace mine. Stock piping worked fine and I only could mount the main stock fan with one simple custom bracket...w the obx exhaust the second radiator wouldnt fin but it would fit up to a 10in aftermarket if mounted right.

I take it that the Evo radiator is thicker front to back then and is it that Evo fans would work ?

well seeing as how it's already a thicker radiator(and inherent better cooling)and with the 1 fan missing, you think it'd work the same as stock and the 2nd fan theoretically wouldn't be needed?(provided the extra thickness cooling was about or the same as the OE rad w/ both fans)
which it likely isn't far off in daily driving...unless u're constantly racing u'd probably dont need the 2nd fan, right?

I had an aluminum evo rad in my ra. Everything bolted up except the main fan. It was close, so I just made my own bracket. I used a strip of stainless and drilled some holes in it. The fans fit with the obx header as well.

Alright, thanks for the help everyone My father-in-law just went ahead and ordered a stock one. Found it reasonably cheap, if this one fails I'll go with the EVO one.

i wonder if the aftermarket evo radiator fits?...(assuming the stock EVO radiator is thicker than the stock RA radiator bot not as thick as the aftermarket aluminum one...)
would it all fit with no issues(fans fitting like OE) and provide a kind of "intermediate cooling" between OE RA and the aftermarket aluminum EVO radiator?

I remember dacib got an aftermarket no name radiator and fan kit off eBay that fit with a little modification. He didn't get any pics of it though and soon later traded the car so....
