I had plans to get a lot of stuff done this weekend. But things never unfold as I plan. I didnt get nearly as much done as I planned to... New plan: Paint tonight, change fluids tomorrow, pack stuff wednesday night, leave thursday night afterwork and sleep in a walmart parking lot cause I wont be anywhere near Wakeman itll almost midnight and a hotel seems pointless to pay for at that point, show up on friday, go to hotel friday night, proceed with weekend.

 

So it's been pretty hectic getting ready for the shootout...I managed to smash off most of the list...but I never got around to cleaning/detailing, or body work so i'll be "riding dirty" in a literal sense...I wanted to wax/buff the car, and get the hood looking nice (it's sanded/prepped for paint or clear but looks like **** at the moment) but I only had time for the more important things, and that was all suspension, chassis and mechanical.

here's my list now:

1. Brake rotors (Centric Premium, installed)
2. Brake pads (Hawk HPS, front and rear, installed)
3. Drive axles (A1 CVTech Stage 1, installed)
4. Tires (Dunlop ZII, mounted installed)
5. Wheels (mitsu Enkei wheels, 4/4 painted bronze, installed)
6. Brake fluid (ATE Super Blue, flushed and bled)
7. Transmission oil change (Redline MT-85, filled)
8. Engine oil change (AMSOIL signature 5w-30, filled)
9. Front camber kit (MOOG, installed)
10. Brake flex lines (Technafit, new addition, received, not installed)
11. SwayBar mounts (OEM, new addition, installed)

Things that came up while working on "the list"

1. Ball joints (MOOG, installed)
2. Tie-rod ends (recieved, not installed)

Things I would still like to do:

1. Paint or clear coat CF hood (didn't have time/money)
2. fix dents/scratches/rust (didn't have time/money spray bombing rust spot so less noticeable at a distance )

 

Im rolling in like you Crans. I didnt have time to mess with cleaning/detailing/waxing. I was too caught up with other things.

1) been wanting to order those mini RA mirrors that came on the Evo FQ400, the "shrek ear" mirors. IDK if Im going to get around to it.
Decided not to do this. Saving money for the Turbo Eclipse project.
2) been wanting to plastidip my roof, wing, licence shroud, and logos. DONE
3) inspect brakes DONE - Great condiditon
4) paint rotors. Their zinc plating must have finally wore off cause they are starting to get surface rust. DONE
5) rotate wheels DONE
6) oil change (engine and ATF) DONE
7) put spare back in the trunk just in case. DONE
8) order gator back belt. current belt from autozone is squealing real bad. DONE
9) replace stupid LED window washer nozzles with stock ones DONE
10) Fill my window washer fluid Decided not to... lol
11) clean the car... (stays dirty #becauserallycar lol :P) Meh...
12) thought about putting spacers back on the wheels but Im probably not going to now. Wont work with the MR-125's

Already Done:

1) replace rear sway bar end links
2) fix tie rods
3) replace strut plates
4) alignment
