Put car on jack stands? The safe way..

Okay this might seem like a dumb question, but how do you guys put the RA on 4 jack stands? Seems like everyone says get the front on jack stands first by jacking up each side and putting stands under the side skirt rail. Then they say go to the back diff and jack that up and put stands under both rear side skirts. The problem is we don't have a rear diff. So I am alittle confused on what to use to jack the rear of the car up. I could jack up just one side of the rear but I feel like there is a chance it could tip and rock doing it this way. Can I just jack up where the two lower control arms meet in the center of the car?

I found this in the service manual.. Are these good places to jack the car up centered? Also I don't have the nice jack stands that have a "V" slot. I have the old flat style ones. So I really don't want to use slide skirt rail because it is really narrow. Is there a better place to stick the stands maybe the unibody rails that run down the center of the car? I also see brackets in the corner of the car that have holes in them. Can someone clarify this for me? I feel noobish right now lol, just want to be safe about this and not break anything.. Thanks.

those pics are exactly what I use, except I used the spot between the rear lower control arms, cause idon't have a big jack anymore, and my little jack doesn't go high enough to use the specified point in the rear... if you use the specified axle stand points on a level surface the car won't go anywhere, I face the release handles inward so I don't bump them, even though it's pretty much impossible to release them with the weight of the car sitting on them...the car sits quite nicely, and solid at these points...see? (i'm using "certified" brand from Canadian Tire...$19.99 for a pair, made in china of course I still put the wheels under the body rails and front rad support when I crawl under, cause I don't fully trust Chinese metallurgy)

So you think it will be okay even if my jacks are flat? Wish I had the v shaped ones. I just wasn't sure how strong that lower rear control arm central brace was.Yea I am always worried when I go under the car. Put extra supports and objects in case something blows out.

I use the same places on my car. I also put the wheels next to the jack stands so that if some freak accident occurs they provide a last line of defense to stop the car from landing on me full force.
