car is down for maintenance at the moment

regardless of oil temperature, I've never had any problems with MIVEC engagement, but it's likely pressure related if it's dependent on temperature...

I can get my hands on a castrol 10w60. Should i change to that? That would make the oil pressure better wouldn't it?

I don't think there's a manual for this! Its a conversion from a 4g93 gdi.

its now built with 82mm wiseco pistons, duratec rods etc! Running a pte5858 bb turbo with 2 x 355 walbro and aem meth

ok, so you're making some power...does this happen while accerating rapidly, what about partial throttle?


it sounds like it's a pressure issue...when you're hard on it, does your oil pressure spike? or does it drop?
