So I have to have my door painted, my buddy's shop is going to do it. They plan on also painting the rims and middle of my bumper, then they asked me if I wanted anything else painted...

I was thinking of a stripe down the side that would run from the front bumper grill through the tinted headlights and all the way to the tinted tails. The band would not connect in the back and would end at the lights. What do you guys think? I want it to look clean but not to rice. It would look something like this...

Yeah...it wouldn't be a vinyl or a fire breathing dragon, I just wanted to paint a stripe or something to match the wheels. I got the idea from an evo I did up in a need for speed game. It follows the cars natural lines, but I guess it's too rice for a biased online community.

Yeah I was just tossing the idea around cause I didn't feel like passing up a free paint job and the guy is trying to get his shop out there and figured a stripe was the easiest way to go, but im just going to leave it alone.

 

If you want a stripe, maybe break it up to smaller squares all the way back. Or just go all out and paint black all the way down from where your stripe is and do a 2 tone.

 

Yeah, I was thinking about making the whole top black, like from the stripe up, but the guy called me yesterday and told me he just got swamped with work so he's just doing the minor fixes and handing me back my car to drive till he has time to get it in the booth.
