I really don't think we are seeing from a manufacturers standpoint, theres no way a 4g63 WILL EVER be a factory option. Thats just a duh thing, And they want to keep this low priced and also compete with the wrx. The new srt is there mazdspeed fighter.seeing as the new srt-4 will be the fwd and turbo, i wouldn't think mitsu/dodge would want to compete with each other.
i will bet money it will be awd turbo, but as far as being a 4b12......we can only hope.
I ill bet money there will be some MAJOR swapping of parts between the two new motors, people will be stroking 4b11's as soon as they are able too.

Ok, if they bring the 5 door AWD car here there will be one parked out front. My wife would dig it and after I get done turning the RS into a full time track toy I can just slide into this. Hawtness.

That was me. After I posted what he told me, another instructor said that the other guy(the one I asked) was the instructer from this training facility that went to Japan to lern about the evo X. He also helped write the class that
Mitsu technitions will be taking for the evo X.
When I asked him, there was no hesitation or question about it. He said the new Ralliart is a turbo AWD.
I also asked him about there being a diesel on the Lancer. He said (in the same manner, no hesitation) Yes, it will be an 09 model and is a 2.2 liter turbo diesel.
