The Ultimate 2009 Ralliart Thread mega merge
i know i am losing interest in this car...first the SST only, mitsu not releasing any info, then the little issues cropping up with the Evo...
i may just wait beyond the RA for the rwd Nissan 240sx successor

oh you mean the now rumored to be hybrid-rwd nissan 240sx successor?
New car announcements are always like this -- they announce really far in advance of shipping, because they can't exactly be like Apple and hide their new products until they're on the verge of shipping -- unless they start selling cars that haven't been properly road-tested...
However, I do think they could at least humour us all with periodic announcements about side-issue features: colours? wheel offset? folding seats? brakes? warranty? newer photos? possible upgrades with Evo parts? mileage? etc. -- we shouldn't have to pick over corporate business statements to figure out what the car weighs and we shouldn't have to pore over auto-show photos to figure out the likely warranty.
If Mitsubishi had more sense, they would have an official pre-ordering process for new cars, to lock in purchases and nudge the business end along faster by showing large numbers of advance sales.

I hope they don't list it above 25k or i may have to look into another car.
Subaru WRX
Mazda Speed 3
Chevy Cobalt SS
All under 25k, if the Ralliart Lancer was 23k i would buy it for sure. 26k and i may have to look at another car.
Lancer has the best design, i like the hand grip to unlock the doors with fast key and i like the interior.
Ralliart is #1 in my book, hopefully #1 in my bank account as well
