I was talking to my friend, who is station in Japan for the Navy. I was telling him what happened to my Evo and said i don't have enough to get another, and mentioned that the new Ralliart is coming out. He told me that his friend has already gotten one and they do offer it in a 5 speed. Any body know if there is any truth to this? I didn't even realize they were out in Japan!

 

No one really knows at this point I think. The only official info we've gotten in NA is that it'll initially be released with the 6spd TC-SST transmission, with a possibility of it being release with the 5spd Manual in the future.

 

Erm, the car, to the best of my knowledge, hasn't been released in any market yet, so I'm guessing he's confusing the new gen Ralliart with the last gen one.

Hmm, if he says it's pretty much the GTS w/ AWD + Turbo... then that surely sounds like the 2009 Ralliart. I don't know what to tell you... heh.

 

Then I believe your friend is bull****ting you, or he's thinking of an Evo.

 

Japan always gets the cars about 6 months before we do. I wouldnt say he is bsing you yet. have him send you pix of it.

 

Maybe he's really thinking of the Evo GSR.

I believe there is a galant fortis gsx which is probably what your friend has??? I believe it is awd + turbo.Good pics wickdaddy!

one of my friends said he saw an 09 ralliart driving in delaware, i told him he was mistaken.........it was either the new evo or the gts but he swore up and down that he saw the RA emblem on the trunk. i told him he was full of sh*t and needed glasses.

Not necessarily. There are test mules out and about right now, and since the production version has been shown publically, it's likely they're not using body camo anymore.
