No USDM production automobile has a V4.

Quote: The same AWD system as the EVO IX yet a 0.81g on the skid?
It's not so much the AWD system that's the issue -- it's the tires and suspension.

Quote: 2008 EVO X GSR MSRP: $31883 (basic model, however still includes the recaros and xenons because it's an EVO)
Nope. Gotta take SSS to get the HIDs.

you can still get the SSS for about 30k, so it's still a good deal

there you go... shopping works miracles. IF they do huge price drops like that on the RA that get it in the 23-24k range with the recaro's or lower, then it would be a good deal

GSR Base
MSRP $33,655
$28,999

GSR SSS
MSRP $35,655
$30,999

Factory Installed Navi Add MSRP $1,999
$1,675

Factory Installed Aero Add MSRP $1,999
$1,590

Factory Installed Interior Sport Kit Add $399.00
$280.00

Factory Installed Wind Deflector Add $85.00
$62.00

Please remember, it costs less to have these accessories installed at the factory.

We have a huge goal and going to get very aggresive this month!!!!
We are paying top $$$$ for trades.

Please dont forget.........

Loyalty Rebate $500
Military Rebate$500

****All advertised prices exclude government fees and taxes, any finance charges, any dealer document preparation charge, and any emission testing charge.**Prices are subject to change without prior notice.**

You need to call or email Sam for this pricing

Quote: that's MD. if you weren't an idiot, you'd shop around and find that you can get a GSR for 28k right now from dealerships in other states and have it shipped to you and still come out way less than buying it at your local dealership. they are selling SSS GSR's for 30k. i got an email yesterday with those prices from a socal mitsu dealership.

learn how to shop dumbass
Yea, I'm an idiot based on your knowledge of my 2 posts in this thread, you're very tough on the internet. Assuming that kind of pricing is available, then I shouldn't have any problem shopping around and finding a Ralliart for roughly ~$24k right? That would negate half the arguments in this thread if true.

ODUB these prices just dropped two days ago by 1k.. Believe me I know as I just bought one from them a few weeks ago... I don't regret it though LOL..

Anyhow this means the cheapest place in the country just dropped the price yet it is still 1k more than what you were saying.. And no 28k isn't 28,999... or 29,999 a couple of days ago.. (there is no other dealership in the country that can touch those prices.(although south coast owns three other mitsu dealerships in that area, so I believe they offer the same price..)

Quote: Sarcasm -- look it up -- the 2009 Lancer Ralliart is a V4, the other cars aren't (at least not in their power versions), and they also don't have AWD or dual clutches. You see, I knew these things and the last part of the sentence was a dead giveaway that I was being sarcastic. Good god, I shouldn't have to explain any of this... do you even know what the 2009 Lancer Ralliart is?
What the guy was making fun of you for was that the Lancer, and every 4cylinder is an I4... In otherwords the pistons are inline rather than a V formation(v-6,v-8,v-10, etc.....) There are I6's(like supra's, BMW's, skylines, etc..) there are even rare cases of I8's although non are in production now..

So all in all there are is no V-4 in the lancer...

OK, now I do actually get it (and really should have known that... sigh), but in case it was lost, my point was that there isn't any point comparing stats and prices for a 4-cyl, 4WD, twin-clutch car with a 6-cyl, FWD, old-style manual car, even if the horsepower is roughly equivalent. That's a bit like saying a Prius is an expensive piece of crap because it accelerates much more slowly that a bargain basement Kia or Daewoo.

i addressed that in my post. so i guess you can't shop or read... IF they do make deals like that on the ralliart and you can get a loaded one for 23-24 THEN and only then, it would make sense to get it over an EVO X. but at that price, i'd look for a used EVO IX myself

You clearly do not understand performance, how it works and why we love it.

Performance is rarely compatible with financial viability.
