This is a reflection of your knowledge regarding engines.

"He got better pistons" What the hell does that mean? Care to elaborate? I would like you to explain to me why he got "better pistons" and why they are better? Did what I say as a whole fly completely over your head? I think it did.

No I expect someone who is willing to make statements such as "it will smoke any evo, any day" to be able to back up there statements with adequate information regarding the issue. If you are so informed about his car that you can state it can smoke any evo, any day then I trusted that you are informed enough to know what was in the car or the fact that you can not even BUILD UP AN RB25s INTERNALS FOR $9,000 in even parts let alone labor and a bigger turbo set up.

The only fat head here my friend, is you. But go ahead call names because you got schooled. Next time you want to make statements like such, be sure you have the knowledge and experience to back it because right now, you resemble a shipment of FAIL.

you can...i happen to know guy ( i know his name dont worry) who live about 45 min away that owns an engineering business he makes money off labor and get parts for very little, i have 8,000 worth of parts in my car and it cost me four. all im saying is the 9,000 he spent is very true. so my comment about smokin any evo obvisously was from past experiences, we live in idaho, there are not very many 12 sec evos around, most people just buy it stock and are done, this state is full of cars, like talons that are cheap and very well built that run a 9 sec 1/4. im tired of evo this evo that, when i see cars like the two i explained that a trully built, (idaho) and ones like the evo's(idaho) it pisses me off. thats were im coming from. and you right maybe i have not been "in the game" as long as you, but at least im willing to put up a fight. you just keep saying everything i say, and turning it around at me. schooled?? who uses that anymore, trust me i really dont feel threatened by you. you kinda making my day more interesting

^this is true... I have yet to see the DSMs & such in person (doing drag runs), but I have heard some crazy stories. People in Idaho like to take cheaper cars & build them up to hopefully murder the more expensive cars, like mine (lol)

Anyways, my personal opinion on the new RA is that it is much improved upon. It's made to be decently quick in the straight-aways & turns... truly a baby evo. If I did not have the money for an Evo, I would have seriously considered this RA. I think pricing should be a thousand or two less, even for the base lancers. For the crazy deals that South Coast is offering, if someone is looking for performance, the X GSR is a waay better choice... only $2k more for a base GSR over base RA. I also don't think that people should be comparing a Camry or an Accord to an RA because their handling is terrible... a lot of body roll & loose stearing (at least w/my parent's Avalon that I had to drive for 3 months).

I have to say, the pricing on the new ralliart is a bit discouraging although It seems to be a very very bare bones evo for the most part.

I remember one of the reviews for it actually referred to it as an very very upscale GTS. Comparison with an Evo will bring disappointment according to them. It may been have Car and Driver or Edmunds.
