RA, What did you guys pay for it?
MSRP on a loaded Ralliart is, IIRC, about 5.5% over invoice. That would make invoice for a loaded car about $31,000 inc. dest.

Definitely, definitely not - somebody lied to you. The car MSRPs at $26,940 + destination. A Ralliart with Recaro + navi should be $32,365 by my math. Don't know how much the gas cap is.

well thats the TEXAS prices i wrote. those are the ones that i saw..and what sucks is that San Antonio only got 5 cars. 2 black, 2 charcoal, and 1 orange..and the only one with a gps was mine... the ones with recaro seats dont come out till dec.
The prices are officially the same everywhere, and the Recaro package is out, but in limited supply. Sounds like they're trying to pull some market adjustment horse****, and probably giving you a line about the sport package.
So touchy.
That's the trouble with the financing dept.
If you have a high interest rate, it might be better to lease.
That way on a lease, your only paying for the depreciation. And that includes GAP. Also pending how long your lease is. and you can decide to keep and finance the car, (if you plan on purchasing) only then will you pay on the interest on the current value after the lease is over.
So that way you only pay for the MSRP until the lease is over. So if decide to purchase the interest will be based simply on its current value.
If you have a high interest rate while purchasing, you might want to look at the lease options.

I went to test drive one today at MaxMadsen here in Chicago. They wouldn't even let me test drive until I sat down with them and talked pricing. The sticker on it was $27,450 or so. That was for the plain one with the gas cap and all of the other crap. I gave him a handout of a price I found on the internet from another dealer around here ($22,500) and he laughed at my face and didn't even want to deal. I'm hearing from other posts that people are getting the base model for around $25,000 out the door. Is that true?
This is the second time they did this to me. I bought a 00 Eclipse eight years ago and started with them, but ended up getting a better price from another dealer.
By the way the warranty is 3 year/36,00 bumper to bumper and 5 year/60,000 powertrain.
