Yeah being a fanboi, really is just the point of view, in this case
I already listed problems in another thread, I really feel no need to carry it over to every ****ing thread on here.

Well, we clearly got different standards.
My point was to show that the Evo hasn't had a flawless existence and to point the finger at Subaru is highly hypocritical. I'm going to be pissing myself laughing when the first Evo engine goes kablamo or when the inevitable transmission dies.

Yes when you have a warning lights on for refuel and you made a close to g turn you have to expect the lean condition in ANY car which doesn't have a fuel cell.
That is why they made fuel cells.

" I find it hilarious how people are so judgmental of other cars while having a blind eye to what they drive."

You are seriously need to take a look in the mirror, on the wall. Getting seriously annoying. I never thought i actually ever have to say that to you. I'm said.
If you actually bother checking, I didn't raise the issue. It's the same ****ing person who doesn't even own a Subaru or a Mitsubishi who continually spouts this crap about engine issues whenever someone even whispers the word Subaru.

Another failed engine added today. Total is up to 14 and counting. I will be owning one of; STI (isn't affected by the issue), EVO, Ralliart by spring/summer. WRX was on my list but I have no faith in the engine so it's off. My wife owns an 07 Outlander (an 04 Ralliart before that and I have owned 1G and 2G DSMs) if that lends any credibility to me posting.

You brought the WRX into the thread when you told to OP to consider it. I think that's bad advise considering the major engine issue.

Yeah god forbid that when someone says they're looking at the Ralliart and the Legacy GT, I suggest they look at the GTI, MS3 and *gasp* the WRX. Again, 14 cars isn't a massive proportion of the population. Yes Subaru has an issue and they should damn well fix it but I find it silly how in every thread, you always bring up the same issue over and over again even when it's not relevant/important. What's going to happen when Subaru inevitably fixes the problem? What will people start spouting then?
Evo_Neil, I wasn't referring to you, you actually make useful points rather than just saying the same thing in every thread.

I have no issues when you bring up the MS3 and GTi as they aren't experiencing failed engines off the lot. Honestly how would you feel if you traded in your 07 WRX, saved some hard earned cash and shelled out $37K for a 2009 WRX 265 only to have to put up with a new engine installed when the interior still has it's new car smell? Honestly and don't spout "at least they covered it under warranty". Tell me how that would make you feel knowing that your new car would have bolts and nuts not torqued to factory specs, broken electrical connectors all over, fine scratches to the fender clear coat and issues down the road related to the install because that stuff happens if you've ever had to go through an engine install. Maybe it's <5% affected but can you be sure that you won't get a bad one because somebody has to and owners at NASIOC are? Please tell me honestly with your Subaru colored glasses off.

Ok please read this correctly Amby i never said that tha Lancer, RA or the Evo were perfect machines because that is what they are "machines" so if every other vehicle on this planet. But no machine is perfect no matter how u slice it. The main problem why we argue with u is that u treat this ongoing engine failure as nothin. "Oh its ok, its covered under warrenty." NO! if it happened to 1 or 2 ppl then fine butt 14? 14!!!! Dude that is ridiculous. So ur tryin to say that wouldn't turn someone off about a car. When u are buyin a car u should do research about that vehicle to see if there are issues and if most ppl see that happenin they wouldn't buy, i know i wouldn't no matter how fast it is. The 4B11 is proving to be a more reliable engine compared to the WRX and that says alot especially since it's brand new. A minor oil leak or gas pepal can be fixed in a day not a whole facking engine. So please stop parading the WRX around here until that issue is fixed.

I am goin to be pissing myself laughing at u when the first Evo engine goes go KABLAMO (as u put it) and the OP says "heavily modded".

And u know what to put it in ur terms even if one fails that would jus be one out of.......hhhhhmmmmmmmm many X's that on the road right now and has been out for almost 1 year already rather than 3 months and then goin KABLAMO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The WRX is the only direct competition for the Ralliart and is really the only other car in the segment with AWD.
If it happened to me, I would be very pissed. The same can be said of a new car that spits rocks at its fenders, or a new car that leaks oil or a new car that has a gas pedal snap, these are all issues that you and I both know would annoy a new owner. People are extraordinarily hypocritical if they don't think people would be just as annoyed at the issues that plague Mitsubishis. It does say something that Subaru is warranty covering the issues. Does it make up for them? No but it certainly helps to ease the people affected by it.

The WRX motor has been out for longer than 1 year. We already know of one Evo that has been lemon lawed, how long will it be until someone blows the TC-SST transmission? You and I both know it will happen eventually. Of course people will dismiss the problem though since it happens on a Mitsubishi, not a Subaru.

My problem is that in every thread, whenever someone so much as says the word WRX, people come running to say "oh my god, the motors explode" despite the fact that its irrelevant. This thread was about someone looking at the Ralliart as well as a handful of cars but of course, since I said the word WRX, it has once again been derailed to a "WTF Subaru" thread.

being 1 a lemon and blowing engine over 2 model year it is kind a different level, dont you think?

Every car manufacturer has a lemon car. My wife CLK 350 Benz got lemon, last year.
Her girl friend Audi a6 in 2004. So those cars are on the same level too, with the lancer or the wrx?
