You don't need to break in the car, just drive it normally and it'll take care of itself.

If you use steelies, make sure you get good hubcaps. Steelies leave the hub exposed and can make future maintenance, such as axle swaps, a PITA.

That's the thing. I suspect that the people at the tint shop mightve redlined it.

Your car is fine. I would, however, be pissed at the tint shop if they took your car for a joyride.

Did you compare mileage before/after? Either way, the car is probably just fine. Redline does not = car death. Especially not on a new car. You have fresh oil, perfect bearing clearances and, oh yeah.. the engine is designed to spin that fast.

The important thing is that you have the same size wheel/tire on all four corners and that the tires are worn evenly on each corner.

Otherwise you're just going to destroy your drivetrain...
