Chris, i dont care about other vendor but ecuflash software unders LIMITS section clearly has some air flow and torque limit tables, perhaps thats what the "torque protection" is being equated to?

There has never been any real evidence of torque protection. This is a made up term, based off the speculation of another vendor.

Soon! The pieces installed on the car are prototypes. We need to finalize the parts and put them on the website ASAP!

Of course! We will have the parts completed and pricing released as soon as possible!

Don't worry, we won't stop here! We have plenty of other things planned for this street terror.

Honestly, I don't see this car reaching 300whp with this turbo on it at this time, on this dyno. The airflow simply isn't there on pump gas. I am already running this turbo pretty good, and its not preforming up top. Alot of the gains we will see on the stock turbo from now on are going to be in the torque department on the stock turbo.

I'd like to see that just as much as the next person, but I don't want everyone to get excited about huge numbers and get the expectations extremely high. There is a limit on how much more air we can make this turbo setup flow on this car, no matter how many parts we bolt on to it!

That has nothing to do with the SST trans. MR/GSR/RA have those tables

All the current flash software have those same tables.

I am aware of, and have experimented with those tables on cars with higher horsepower than normal. No good end results were accomplished, and they are not directly related to the 'torque protection', which i will maintain is a made up term at this point.

There is such a thing as limiting tables which will set check engine lights if not tuned correctly. These should not be confused as 'torque protection'.

Since I am using ECUTeK, there are a great deal more tables available with correct descriptions and adequate logging at this point, which have lead me to be able to test these things correctly.

Hey guys why can't we use an EVO X bolt on stock turbo + all other mods to get us from 280 awhp to 300+.
After all doesn't the X share our same motor.

What holding us back?
