So i went to the 1/8th mile track last night.. had a great time..

Few things
Launching sucks.. I tried everything... I tried break pressing it to 2k... i tried snow, gravel and tarmac settings.. I launched at the 2nd light.. no matter what the car just was slow as hell off the line..

When it finally picked up I can say the car is quick.. i was running mid to low 9s all night..

Anyways they werent giving out slips last night which sucks but I did race a few cars and a couple trucks and had a great time.. I will probably go again next week or the week after..

So if anyone has suggestions about getting off the line quicker it would be appreciated..

 

oh and i talked to a guy with a blue evo X it was real nice..

 

Hmmm.... I dunno.. AMS was running 12.9 in the 1/4 - so I imagine they were getting pretty reasonable launches.

 

turn ASC OFF, lol. then launch it at 3k.
take practice, since your tranny WILL overheat if you hold those rpms for more then 3 secs lol.

 

I ran an 8.235 at 84.60 with a 1.866 60' on that 12.9 pass.

 

i generally run 8.0's at the eighth, but thats with my 9 and a couple of bolt-ons

 

sorry bro but the ralliart is known for its slow starts off the line, not much you can do about that except maybe turn the ASC off like someone already mention. I don't think that would even do much really.

 

yah i tried it with the asc off.. didnt do much maybe a 10th of a second.. or it could have been my reaction time that shaved off that 10th.. lol....

well i guess its not too bad then.. 9s are still pretty good for a stock car..

 

Reaction time does not count into your ET. It can be 2 minutes, wont matter.

 

i ran a 8.5 with a 13.5 run
