150$ separate kit? what you talking about?

earlier i posted how i dropped my car off at bestbuy, i told the guy their to put the external microphone from existing bluetooth here ( and pointed where it was ) and put the external one from my pioneer avic f90bt microphone there, and hes like yeah sure we can do that no prob.

im actualyl extremely pleased with how my turned out all the ipod cords are hooked up and just sit permanant;y in my glove box , so it works out perfect before i was thinking it would pop out threw aux jacks and when i was gone people would see ipod sitting out and ****. but this people dont see at all

highly reccomend the pioneer avic f90bt
the scosche kit
( and if you want to keep any steering wheel controls but the PAC thing)

i didn't get one cause i push one button and say " call Home " or " play artist metallica " and it does it right there. ( not worth the 80 PAC imo )

I meant that most are built in bluetooth which means the mic is built into the head unit. Some are bluetooth "ready" which requires a bluetooth add on kit that is around 150 dollars. Found a cheaper head unit though for 180 by JVC that has an external mic

oh gotcha gotcha, my avic did come with an external mic, when i was getting it installed i told them where i wanted them to put it and he said yeah no prob. there was no extra fee nothing extra to buy it was all ready to go ( like a plug-n-play ) if you've heard of that. only thing extra on ym unit ( pioneer avic f90bt) you would have to buy is a PAC to keep steering wheel controlls.

Also the unit has a little extra features from MSN Direct which is either 60 bucks for 6 months of service or a 99.99 dollar flat fee for unlimited use, this fee is for 4 added features and they are : Live traffic, Weather, Gas prices around you, and Movie times for places around you n what movie etc...

I didn't get PAC or the msn direct feature cause honestly its no biggy to me at all and isn't worth the money IMO.

Also the f90bt ( i got it for 650$) comes with a Ipod connector that whoever is installing it ( also its another plug n play feature ) can just put the cords in the glove box, no one will see your ipod looking threw the window and it cannot die cause its always charging. go look at pic of an avic playing with ipod, its a very clean very nice easy to use screen.

So far only thing thats a con, but isnt to me i can see how others would dislike so im telling you, is the fact when you turn it on ( your car ) the head unit will take ~30 seconds to actually get everything going. to me i can easily wait 30 seconds some people hate it cause there impatient. hahah anyways hoped it helped lemme know if you got any other questions on my f90bt

just check crutchfield, they should have it under accessories for your model.
