How to install double-din DVD video system

Where can I get the specific relocation kit and install a double-din and how would it fit properly? Any pictures would be great and where to buy the kit exactly. This got me going when I saw a cheap dvd deck @ best buy. thanks. For 03 Evo VIII

To my knowledge there is no relocation kit for sale anymore, people have been buying the JDM double din and trying to make their own relocation for the ac controls. Aside from that, the install is very straight forward, if you can install a radio you can install a double din navi. Japanparts.net I think has the double din and the relocation kit, you are going to have to search. goodluck!

There is a guy on here who will make the ac relocation for you for a charge. He's a really good guy and I'll be hitting him up after I get back from bootcamp.

You could try and do a DIY ....

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...e-din-mod.html

or you could ask the guy if he would do it for you. The only other thing I have found is the Orbital Double Din Relocation kit and it's been discontinued for a long time. You might be able to find one on here or in another forum but I'm sure it won't be cheap.

the orbital kit has been discontinued for quite a while now, your best bet is to do the install yourself. of course it'll be a costum job. that is unless you could find a orbital kit floating around for sale on here, which people are trying to sell those things for 300 to 400 dollars USED..... good luck and keep us updated
