Really pumped about 2011 RA!

5th paragraph down, I know it's more then a year old thread, but I read this today and remembered this argument I had here :P (Macleans is more then reputable enough source I hope), also if you read farther, our toll road has over 360,00 and thats the one you pay for. Other highways are higher.

Well, i'm not going to just take that information without any actual studies.
I went to Montreal.
But what i'm, saying as a whole and outlying areas i'm pretty sure it's a safe assumption to say there is more cars and traffic surrounding NYC. For example Long Island has three main east-->west highways that total 8 lanes not including all the north to south highways, Cross Island Sagitkos etc. During rush hour they are all packed. That's just Long Island. There is a reason why there are several different ways to get in, and they are almost always busy.
Like i said ive never been to Toronto, but the sheer amount of highways around NYC that are almost always busy, i would think that there are more cars surrounding NYC. Especially when I-95 from Jersey is 300,000ish just by itself.
Anyway end rant, your right i was just being a smartass. My main point on that was that manual would be a hassle in the traffic i face every day. Just doesn't make sense.

Dude... its Colour-keyed FOLDING heated POWER mirrors
not Colour-keyd POWER FOLDING heated mirrors............
Just got my 2011 RA about a week ago. Only knew thing new for 2011 as far as I can tell.
- USB port in glove box
- Fuse voice control of the radio. (Dont know if 10' hade that?)
-NO HP increase
-NO wide body panels
-NO tire change (same junk tires from 10')
-NO 5 speed ( with clutch pedal) LOL
-NO price drop.
And you know what?????? The car is still awsome. It doesnt need any of that to be great. It is great........
My $.02. I think the EVO we all have grown to love is going bye bye. There is to much push from Mitsu to go up market with it. To much presure from the suits to actually make money on the EVO line. Lets not forget how small Mitsu is as a car company. Right now they make more money on base Lancers and Outlanders. I think you will see the Ralliart fill the gap of the present EVO as the next few model years come. I think we will get a clutch pedal manual. I think there will be a slight body change, more agressive. I think there will be better brakes, tires, suspension and HP increase. JUST NOT THIS YEAR.

The EVO is not a few grand more. My 11' Ralliart $26,750 out the door. GSR from same dealer $34,200 out the door. $7,450 difference. Everyone keeps saying there are only a few grand apart. On the average, thats just not true, or even close....... Yes, they are, when you buy a leftover from the year before at $30,000. Even still that's $3,250, thats not a small amount.
As far as the EVO moving up market. I just see it being less raw as the years go on. I am not saying it wont be great, just more refined, and consequently more expensive. I think it will always be a tech showcase for Mitsu. I think the Ralliart will benefit from this. The price will go up a little and the performance will follow. Its a good thing. Mitsu has always been smart about this. Why do you think the Ralliart comes with crap tires? To keep the performance numbers at a certain distance from the EVO. Just saying.......
