I went to the gym the other day , left my FAST key in the gym bag and put it in the trunk.
I was locked out of the car and had to call my dad to get the extra remote

Damn. Dat sux. i guess they never thought about that when making the system. u should write Mitsu a letter to update the system to pop the trunk back open when it senses the key in it.

I love key fob tricks. In my gs300 if you hold down the unlock button all the windows roll down and sun roof opens, lol.

That happened to me when I went hiking. Had my keys in the backpack which was in the trunk and my gf closed the trunk. Though in my case, all i did was hit the trunk release button.

U probably could've done the same thing.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. Somebody needs to figure out what kind of key fob tricks there are for the Ralliart.

That's weird cause it worked for me. I don't see why it wouldn't work, the car doesn't distinguish between the key being on the inside or outside of the trunk as long as its next to it.

He has a lead-lined gym bag.

I did this today and it worked, except I thought it was supposed to beep a few times afterwards to let me know that it worked but did not

How can that be?

I've tried this myself; I've locked all the doors, left the trunk open, throw the key inside the gym bag and put it inside the trunk, then close the trunk.... as soon as I did that, the car beeped like crazy for 3 secs and then all the doors were magically opened!

Hum... did you have the car on when this occured?
That's totally weird
